VoxGotha Green Policy and Recycling

In order to reduce and eventually eliminate hazardous materials contained in electronic components and systems from the environment, the electronics industry has chosen to adopt certain global environmental initiatives; namely RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)..

VoxGotha Networks as a globally responsible corporate citizen, is committed to preserving the environment and continually supports compliance with all current and future RoHS, RoHS China and WEEE Directives.

European Union (EU) Directives on restricting the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS) and on the disposition of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) regulate the creation and disposal of electrical and electronic equipment placed on the EU market.

VoxGotha Products complies with all of the current European Union RoHS, China RoHS and WEEE Directives.

RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances (European Directive 2002/95/EC), and was adopted in 2003 by the European Union (EU). Enforcement of this standard by the EU began on July 1, 2006. The six restricted substances are: cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVl), lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), polybromated biphenyls (PBBs), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs). Not all EU countries have adopted RoHS. Some non-EU countries such as China have their own version of RoHS.

WEEE stands for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (European Directive 2002/96/EC), and regulates the collection, recycling and disposal of all types of electrical and electronic products. It aims to minimize the environmental damage from discarded end-of-life electrical products.

Compliance to RoHS and WEEE

VoxGotha Networks and its partners works closely with its supply chain to ensure ongoing conformity to the EU Directives, as well as to procuring and using only dependable, environmentally safe alternatives to hazardous materials.
